Description
Tanatan is a post-emergence herbicide belonging to the chemical family of sulfonylurea herbicides. It is highly effective against broadleaf weeds in wheat fields. Tanatan controls a wide spectrum of weeds such as Chenopodium album, Melilotus indica, Melilotus alba, Lathyrus aphaca, Anagallis arvensis, Vicia sativa, Vicia hirsuta, and Cirsium arvense. It ensures selective control with a wide spectrum of activity.

Directions for Use
- Apply as a spray 25–35 days after sowing wheat (T1 application).
- Use 500–600 L of water per hectare for uniform coverage.
- Recommended for foliar spray using a knapsack sprayer or a rocker sprayer.
- Mix the required quantity of Tanatan in a small amount of water to form a uniform suspension, then add the remaining water.
- Avoid overlapping and spraying during strong winds.
Safety Precautions
- Keep away from foodstuffs, feeds, and animal fodder.
- Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes, and skin.
- Do not inhale the spray mist.
- Wash thoroughly after handling.
- Wear protective clothing and a face shield while spraying.
- Do not smoke, eat, or drink during application.
- Avoid drift to non-target plants or water bodies.
First Aid Measures
If swallowed
Induce vomiting by tickling the back of the throat. Do not induce vomiting if the person is unconscious. Seek medical help immediately.
If on skin
Remove contaminated clothes and wash the area thoroughly with soap and water.
If in eyes
Flush with clean water for 10–15 minutes.
If inhaled
Move the patient to fresh air and keep them at rest.
