Description

Sulfosulfuron is a selective early post-emergence herbicide used for the effective control of Phalaris minor in wheat crops. It also controls broadleaf weeds like Chenopodium album and Melilotus alba species.

Directions for Use

Dose

Use one sachet containing 13.5 g per acre for effective control of Phalaris minor and other mixed broadleaf weeds.

Mixing
  • Dissolve the entire content of SHAKTHIMAAN (13.5 g) into 15–20 litres of clean water in a bucket.
  • Add the full quantity of surfactant (500 ml) to the solution and stir well.

  • Dilute the solution with more clean water to make 100 litres for uniform spraying per acre.

Application
  • Recommended for control of both Phalaris minor and mixed broadleaf weeds.
  • Spray at the 3–4 leaf stage of weeds when the Phalaris plant is in the 3–4 leaf stage after sowing of wheat.
  • Apply as a foliar spray using a flat-fan or flood jet nozzle. Do not broadcast.
