Cypermethrin 25% EC
Description
Cypermethrin 25% EC is a high-active pyrethroid insecticide based on (RS)-α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl 2,2-dimethyl-cyclopropane carboxylate, commonly known as Cypermethrin. Each litre of Cypermethrin 25% EC contains an active ingredient concentration of 25% w/w.
It is a broad-spectrum contact and stomach insecticide effective against a wide range of pests in various crops.

Directions for Use
Cypermethrin 25% EC can be sprayed in the field for high-volume spraying using appropriate equipment like:

- Wheelbarrow sprayer
- Compression knapsack sprayer
- Motorised knapsack battery sprayer (ASPEE–HTP, power sprayer)
For low-volume spraying, motorised sprayers or mist blowers may be used. Always ensure uniform coverage and avoid drift.
Safety Precautions
- Keep away from food, feed, and animal housing areas.
- Store in a cool, dry place under lock and key, away from open flames.
- Do not smoke, eat, or drink while handling or spraying the insecticide.
- Avoid inhalation or direct contact with spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind, not against it.
- Use protective gear, gloves, face shield, overalls, and boots; while mixing or spraying.
- Avoid spraying near fish ponds, beehives, or areas where beneficial insects are active.
- Do not use leftover spray or rinse water to avoid contamination.
First Aid Measures
If inhaled
Move the person to fresh air immediately.
If on skin
Wash thoroughly with plenty of soap and water.
If in eyes
Rinse with plenty of clean water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
If swallowed
Do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.
If inhaled
In case of severe poisoning, induce vomiting only under medical supervision.
Symptoms of Poisoning
Nausea, vomiting, pulmonary edema, respiratory distress, and allergic dermatitis.
Therapy: Treat symptomatically.
