Description
Moxiall 5.1% EC is a selective post-emergence herbicide formulated for the effective control of major grassy weeds in wheat, such as Phalaris minor (Canary Grass) and Avena ludoviciana (Wild Oat). It works through rapid foliar absorption and systemic translocation, providing visible results within 48 hours and complete weed kill within 2–3 weeks.

Directions for Use
Time of Application
Apply as a post-emergence spray directly onto wheat crops when grassy weeds are at the 3–5 leaf stage. Ensure thorough coverage of weed foliage for uniform results.
Equipment Used
Use a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat-fan or deflector nozzle (80° wide FNB 80). Maintain a constant nozzle height of 35 cm above the crop canopy for even spraying.
Solution Preparation
- Fill the spray tank with a small quantity of clean water.
- Add 320–360 ml of Moxiall 5.1% EC and mix thoroughly.
- Top up the tank to 90–120 litres with water. Stir well and apply immediately to ensure effective coverage.
Safety Precautions
- Do not use cooking utensils for solution preparation.
- Stir solution with a stick only. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
- Do not inhale vapours or spray mist.
- Wear gloves, goggles, protective clothing, and a face mask.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application.
- Wash hands and change clothes after spraying.
- Prevent contamination of water bodies and the environment.
Symptoms of Poisoning
May cause irritation to skin, eyes, and mucous membranes; headache, nausea, or dizziness may occur in severe exposure cases.
First Aid Measures
Skin Contact
Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Eye Contact
Rinse with clean water for several minutes.
Inhalation
Move the patient to fresh air; seek medical help if symptoms persist.
Ingestion
Do not induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention.
Storage & Disposal
- Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from food, feed, and drinking water.
- Keep tightly sealed in original containers under lock and key.
- Keep out of reach of children and animals.
- Dispose of empty containers and leftover solution safely as per local regulations.
- Rinse containers thrice and bury them away from habitation and water sources.
- Avoid contaminating nearby residential or agricultural areas.
